Suggested Improvements

In Doxy.me 2.0, w/ a couple logging in from different locations, Gallery View DOES work - - BUT - - when I used the New NOTES APP (which I love), the Notes App took up ALMOST ALL OF THE SCREEN, and my 2 clients were pushed far to the upper right in 2"x3" LITTLE VIEW PORTS. PLEASE FIX THIS. This problem also positioned my couple so far to the right, I had to twist my head way to the right to "look at them," and yet my webcam is straight ahead (it makes me look weird, like, "why is he looking to the side and not at us?" TO THE CONTRARY, when my client(s) log in from just ONE device, THEY are large, front, and center, and the Notes App is vertically slim and slightly to the left, but still predominantly front facing, which is GREAT! Please fix the problem I just wrote about, ASAP :)

The new UI has an interesting quirk where requesting payment is concerned: the doxy user (the clinician) navigates to the payment app and clicks the icon; then that menu disappears and there's a spinning progress circle animation overlaid the video until the modal dialog presents to the user prompting the user to enter the amount of money to be charged the patient. If that dialog never comes up, the user is stuck there with the spinning circle animation with no cancel button and the user has lost all control of the UI. It would be great if there were a way to terminate the request for payment at that stage. It reasonably often happens that that dialog takes a long time (like a half a minute or more) to present.

After this last round of Doxy "upgrades" the video quality of seeing my patient and my patients seeing me has become degraded. I hope that repairs to your video quality are in the works and will be available soon.

It's helpful in a multiple participate session to pause one member of the call so a discussion can be held privately with another session participate. Please reinstate this feature.

How can we have a patient in a multi call go back to the waiting room without having to disconnect them? This feature was in the old version, now I don't see it.

It would be helpful to be able to explore/download your session logs so that you can see start and end time of sessions as well as session length. It is great that you can see it when you go to history but it would be helpful to be able to download them and save them as a spreadsheet.

It would be nice to be able to save the downloaded notepad text files into a separate folder by default. Currently it saves it in a general download folder. Also, if the session ends abruptly due to a technical reason, what has previously been typed into the text file is lost. This happens for example example when restarting the call.

Too difficult to fill out

After opening Doxy.me , my preview is not on my external camera. It has worked fine for many years. But the past couple days I have noticed that it does not recognize my external camera that was previously set up. When I go to change it, it says there is no camera at all to choose from even when I can see myself on the laptop camera. In trouble shooting this I did the AI thing to check it and sometimes that fixes the problem. Then other times it doesn't work at all or it flips back to my laptop camera. I have done these things and sometimes it works and others not. And I can't leave a patient waiting while I reboot my entire system for every visit. Has there been a recent update because this never happened before. I have done all of these things and sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. My concern is that the software has never done this in the past. And I don't have time to do all of these steps at the start of every visit. So it makes using this software very impractical. I have considered getting the paid version but if the free one has these bugs, I don't want to pay for something that doesn't work. And I find it hard to believe that nothing has changed with the software when I have used the free and the paid versions of Doxy.me for years and this has never happened before. So I am concerned that their is a problem with the software that is new over the past few days.My issue is not resolved and I am unable to continue this chat. Can you please send a copy of this chat to your tech team so they are aware. For their information, I am using Firefox and have been for a long time. I have not had any problems with this browser until the past couple days.
